I didn’t realise Sleeping Around was on Amazon yet!

And I also discovered when I checked out Amazon that the ‘ebook’ the fellow I saw ‘reading’ the other day was an Amazon Kindle!

I do love my bookshelf as well and a Kindle just wouldn’t look good sitting there all by itself!

Hi,
I found Sleeping Around on Amazon.com in the USA so it is available here – just at a price. I put this book on my Christmas list for my mum (in AU) to get it for me downunder. I might be too old for a Christmas list but it is safer than leaving her to her own devices.
As for ebooks; my dad, who is 60, has had one for years (the Sony one) and doesn’t go on a flight without one. He loves them. I on the other hand refuse to give up my ‘old fashioned’ reading habits. We spend too much time as it is on computers which are messing with our eye sight already so I don’t need another electronic device to screw with my vision. Paper backs are also great for sharing around; you can’t do this with an ebook. I rarely kepp my books; I pass them on for someone else to enjoy. I don’t want to give that up so I won’t be joing the ebook club anytime soon.

Solution: e-book with build in camera to take photo of novelty bookmark so that said bookmark can be electronically inserted in electronic book.

Next problem: how can the wife fold down the corner of the e-book page to create bookmark? Solution: e-book with hinged corners.

Final problem: can you get water(saliva)-proofed e-books? My baby son wants to chew on one.

That is one good thing about ebooks – people can ‘buy’ my books anywhere in the world!

I don’t have a US publisher for Sleeping Around yet. Have you got any close friends who head up any large publishing companies?
