I actually do get ’some’ money for my books being in the library, but I certainly won’t be retiring to the Bahamas too soon on my annual library cheque!

And yes, anyone who borrows my books from the library is more than welcome to send me any loose change hanging around

Hi Brian,
I have just read a comment from Liz who says how much she enjoyed Sleeping Around and that she will be looking out for more of your books at the library. What a scummy bugger she is! Doesn’t she realise that authors live by book sales. The only thing worse than reading a book from the library is to borrow it from a friend. I suggest that anyone who reads one of your books for free sends you their loose change by way of compensation.
