No one has mentioned New York... As an Aussie that's lived and worked in New York, it's the place to party!

Beijing, Hong Kong, Istanbul and Vegas also make my list.

Love your books, too, Brian!

Berlin- that place goes off, and ANYTHING goes!
Manchester - Clubs and bands and parteeee!
Ibiza - Europe's party capital
Melbourne - I'm from Sydney and Brian, your home town has the best live music scene in Australia!

Hi Brian,

You have been to the official Sydney Mardi Gras After Party three more times than I have - and I live in Sydney. And am bisexual! To be fair, I'm also a starving writer, which means I can't afford the exorbitant cover fee. Luckily being in the parade is free, and always a delight! ;D

Are you planning to go again next year?

I agree on Bangkok - Khao San Road is one big party street after sunset. I was too tired from days packed with sight-seeing to explore the London party scene, but it's reputed to be one of the best. (Belgrade must really be something to be at the No. 1 spot.)

Are you planning to visit any more Latin America soon? I'm thinking of checking out Buenos Aires next year - it'll be my fifth continent (I don't think being born in Africa counts, since I can't remember a thing about my first seven months). :)

I didn't stay long enough in HCMC to party, either, but perhaps it's time to revisit Vietnam...

Take care, E
