The biggest snowman ever in this world!
July 28th, 2008
I’ve just had four days skiing at Mt Hotham (five hours north of Melbourne) where my daughter built the ‘the biggest snowman ever in this world’. Well, actually I built most of it while my 6 year-old daughter Jasmine threw ‘the world’s biggest snowballs’ at me. I don’t know how to break the news to Jasmine, but we fell just a little short of the World’s Biggest Snowman (or Snowperson, which I believe is the correct PC term). That title belongs to the 22 metre Snowperson built in the town of Bethel, Maine. She has eyelashes made from skis, painted red tyres for lips and her arms are recycled Christmas trees. Then again, we are going skiing in New Zealand in two weeks time and I reckon we could beat that. Anyone got a spare bulldozer I could borrow?
